Ikeris Sp. z o.o was founded in 2003. Initially, activities focused mainly on providing hardware and software solutions, and since 2005 we extended our offer to design applications and web pages and last 2 years Helpdesk CRM. Today is our main area of activity. We are using modern web development methods. One of the fundamentals of the web is that it can be accessible to anyone. Unfortunately, most current websites and applications are inaccessible to a large portion of web users. We want to change that, and create sites and applications that anyone can access, regardless of which web browser or device they use. Web standards like XHTML and CSS, and accessibility guidelines from WAI help us do that.
Each project is from beginning to end individually, based on the needs of our clients, jointly referred to it during the consultation and based on the analysis carried out by us. We are not limited functionality with no ready-made software packages, so we can properly fulfill each customers request.
Our standards are:
- Object-oriented programming in PHP5 and separating layers of access to data from the layers of the processing and presentation – to lower the costs of developing applications in the future,
- The use of databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL and MSSQL,
- Analyzing the efficiency and optimise each query to the database – it allows you to increase the number of people who may benefit from applications at any given moment,
- The possibility of changes in specifications already in the course of the project – we will be able to keep the application to adapt to changing customer needs,
- The continuous rebuilding the structure of the code so as to keep the greatest possible functionality and performance – all the time to develop even these elements applications that already exist, to enhance the efficiency and safety,
- We seperate presentation layer from the logical – to lower the costs of developing applications in the future,
- The use of W3C standards ensures the smooth operation of parties in browsers, which arise in the future based on the same standards.
